Few months ago we talked about 4 Reasons Why Branding Is Not A Waste of Money . Today we want to talk about the most effective way to create that brand visibility that is so necessary not only to stay in business, but also to foster growth.
With so many brands out there, driving attention to your brand can be really challenging. So, here’s a little “secret”: buying is an emotions driven process! Believe it or not, this happens every single time a person makes a purchasing decision, regardless of his/her levels of rationality and logical thinking. It’s the emotion what triggers the thought process that justifies the purchase. I’m not going to spend too much time backing up what I just said (should I say ‘wrote’?) You can check this out yourself by looking within, asking people you know how they make their buying decisions, and/or looking this up on the Internet. There are countless examples that prove it.
Now, let’s play a little imagination game and say that you verified what I said above and that I am right. The next logical thought may be “what does that have to do with making my brand more visible?” The answer to this question is simple. If you make people feel good about what you offer, not only they will want to buy from you over and over again, but they will also want to share their experience with others, which will make your brand more visible.
However, that’s not the only thing you need to take into account. This is the first step, but certainly not the only one. Here are a few other elements I recommend you to keep in mind in order to get the right exposure.
Now that you know that the single most effective way to make your brand (positively) visible is to trigger positive emotions in your customers/clients, I suggest you to focus on things like providing great customer service, show you care by focusing on your customers’ needs and not on your need to sell more, provide product/service quality, fulfill the promises you make, and be honest -don’t upsell or cross-sell if there is not true benefit to your customer.
